Who Is She?

My name is Laila Leguillow and I am a performer from Brooklyn New York. I love Rupauls drag race, Kehlani, and my X-box. I invest myself into culturally significant art pieces I can relate to. As an Afro-Latine artist I am deeply connected to works like In The Heights and Once On This Island. I am also always looking to uplift fellow queer voices in the arts. hopefully one day I’ll originate a role as a Sapphic lead who has a whirlwind romance. Any time I can support works that help me and other underepresented communities feel seen I will! I am also deeply invested in getting into rooms where up and coming musicals are being made. I have worked with creative duos on their new works like Sammi Cannold and Zack Zadeck, Michael Mitnick and Will Connolly. I have been trained professionally in singing and acting for the past decade familiarizing myself with all genres. I want what I have worked on to spark joy and to also leave people with something to think about
